\nLIFE IN THE BOTANICAL GARDEN<\/h3>\n

Treasure hunt<\/span><\/h4>\n

Topic: Life in the botanical garden teaches us to respect history, nature, culture and tradition.<\/h4>\n

It was founded in 1984 on the idea of Dr. Fr. Jure Radi\u0107, his associates and volunteers, and was conceived as “Biokovo in miniature”. The garden is specific with its appearance and characteristics because it contains around the native flora that is indigenous to the area of the Nature Park and Podbiokovlje. Since all species are native, in any part of the year, regardless of climatic conditions, flowering plants can be seen, so this garden bears another name “Garden of twelve flowering months”. The program includes a tour of the botanical garden in the context of “Treasure Hunt”, hunt for values – intangible heritage.<\/span><\/h4>\n

Church of St. Martin – a place shrouded in a veil of secrecy<\/span><\/h4>\n

Topic: Integrated tours in the footsteps of the St. Martin’s fraternity<\/span><\/h4>\n

Namely, the rich tangible and intangible heritage of the Koti\u0161ina area is associated with the worship and cult of St. Martina.<\/span>
\nUnder the phrase preservation of heritage and preservation of the environment, and based on historical facts, archeology and ethnology, the subject program reveals the hidden cultural potential of St. Martin’s heritage. Cult of St. Martina in Makarska has a special attention given how he lived, lasted and survived here until today, as evidenced by numerous narrators and scientific research. This unique site offers an irresistible panoramic view of Makarska, Makarska Riviera, the islands of Brac and Hvar, and even in nice weather on the Peljesac peninsula and the island of Korcula. This is a place of exceptional peace and quiet, ideal for all nature lovers, especially hikers, trekkers, hikers and other recreationists. The church can be reached by a hiking trail and the path to it is very interesting and educational. The view on one side directly on the nearby cliffs of Biokovo, and on the other side of the open sea, in this natural environment, a favourite of many species of animals, gives visitors unforgettable moments: a combination of history, tradition, nature, but also a sense of peace and freedom.<\/span>
\nThis is the ambience in which visitors will feel the values promoted by St. Martin’s heritage, namely family togetherness and fraternal togetherness, which is ultimately the fundamental goal of the presentation of intangible heritage.<\/span><\/h4>\n

Topic: The natural area where the Koti\u0161ina area is located is rich in many natural, historical and landscape values. In addition to the endless view provided by the collision of mountain and sea, there are numerous traces of human life, buildings woven at the foot of the mountain massif, many sources of drinking mountain water, the richness of indigenous plant communities and floral elements and a wealth of visual, auditory and olfactory stimuli. they give an unforgettable experience of the connection between man and nature. The program includes a tour of all cultural and natural features of the hamlet of Koti\u0161ina.<\/span><\/h4>\n

All programs are prepared according to the Interpret Europe Heritage interpretation method from a licensed tour guide and certificate Iranian Heritage Interpreter (CIG).<\/span><\/h4>\n

Programs follow the authentic location of the hamlet of Koti\u0161ina, include places: Church of St. Anthony, church of st. Martin, Ka\u0161tel Interpretation Center and Botanical Garden.<\/span><\/h4>\n

The programs follow the theme of life in the hamlet of Koti\u0161ina, community of inhabitants, respect for tradition, understanding the context of the time, admiration for nature and respect for coexistence with it. The programs are ideal for younger or older children, groups or families. They are age-appropriate.<\/span>
